The GFC utilized the services of 12 interns to install 5,753 traps in 35 counties in Georgia. These were primarily located in north Georgia with the exception of a few scattered in central and in south Georgia including 2 military bases (Fort Benning and Robins Air Force Base).

Delimiting trapping occurred in White, Lumpkin, and Pickens Counties, and no moths were caught in these Counties. One moth was caught in Dawson County approximately one-quarter mile from the Pickens site. Three other single moth catches occurred and these were in Walton, Gwinnett, Oconee Counties.
