Spotted Lanternfly

What is the Spotted Lanternfly?

Native to Asia, this species was found in Pennsylvania in 2014. Many states now have populations of Spotted Lanternfly (SLF).

SLF is versatile in its plant hosts. It can be found in habitats ranging from rural, and agricultural areas to residential or urban areas.

Moving SLF can be done in any life stage; egg masses are the most common form of SLF to be transported. It is important to always check any outdoor items or equipment before relocating them.
