What are Yellow-legged Hornets?
This species poses a threat to honeybees and other pollinators in our state. First confirmed live occurrence reported in the US was reported in August 2023 in Savannah. Impacts felt from the presence of this species will have a tremendous affect on Georgia’s agriculture industry.
Sightings of this invasive species should be reported to the Georgia Department of Agriculture or via EDDMapS.
